City of Spartanburg - City Attorney's Office

The City Attorney provides legal counsel to the City as defined by the Mayor and City Council, to the City Manager in carrying out the duties of their office and to City Departments and Boards and Commissions acting within the course and scope of their positions. The City Attorney provides guidance to the City regarding contracts, agreements, ordinances, resolutions and the Code. The City Attorney supervises the City Prosecutor/Assistant City Attorney.
