Imagining Spartanburg's next great Downtown businesses

The Main Street Challenge officially got underway this past Sunday, and to celebrate Spartanburg's latest innovative economic development project, we thought it might be fun to do a little show-and-tell for the six potential locations available for the three winners of the contest. Yesterday, we took a look at 147 East Main Street, a great space located right next to YOGAlicious Yoga Studio, and today, we're on to 154 East Main Street, another wonderful location for our city's next successful downtown business.

This 2,400 square foot space is located next to the children's boutique clothing store, Petit Armoire, and is practically begging to be turned into something great. Don't believe that? Take a look at the pictures below. After that, take a moment to imagine Spartanburg's next great shop, restaurant, art gallery, or maybe something no one else has even thought of.

Got that image in your head? Share it with the rest of us by leaving a comment below!

Is that idea of yours just too good? Maybe even good enough to be one of the three challenge winners? Great! Check out our Main Street Challenge page, and fill out an application to get in the contest. Who knows? The business that fills 154 East Main Street might be your own.
