Between Police and Fire services, Parks and Recreation, Public Works, Public Transit, and other public areas such as Morgan Square and city-owned rights-of-way and medians, the City operates a number of buildings and maintains dozens of parks and other public areas. As you can imagine, keeping all that property maintained and in good condition is a nearly round-the-clock, 365-day-a-year endeavor. These are facilities and parks that City taxpayers own and their appearance makes a statement to visitors and residents alike about our community's level of pride and the professionalism of its municipal workers.
Remember: these facilities, parks and other areas belong to you. Therefore, if you have a concern about any City facility or park's appearance or if you see an item in need of repair or attention, contact Grounds Maintenance Manager Mark Ford at (864) 596-2468 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
