Downtown Spartanburg's Free Miniature Golf Course
Looking for something to do while browsing Downtown Spartanburg's fantastic boutiques or after having a meal at one of our outstanding restaurants? Check out Sparkle City Mini Putt for some free, family-friendly fun!
Constructed through a public-private partnership between Hub-Bub, the City, and an anonymous donor, and designed by former Hub-Bub Artist-in-Residence, Robin Schwartzman, the nine-hole miniature golf course features holes inspired by Spartanburg greasy spoon icons like the Beacon and Sugar & Spice, nods to Spartanburg's railroad and textile history, as well as Spartanburg's present as a bike and arts town.
Best of all, Sparkle City Mini Putt is absolutely free! All you have to do is either bring your own putter and golf ball, or borrow them from one of four participating downtown businesses (follow links for location information): Paisley Paw, The Local Hiker, and Little River Coffee Bar.
