Effective August 1, 2016, the City of Spartanburg will include a small fee on all credit card transactions.
The fee is $1 plus 1.7 percent of the total charge or fee. For example, if you are using a credit card to pay a $10 fee, your total would be: $10.00 + $ 1.00 + $ 0.17 (0.017 x amount of fee or bill. This amount will be more or less depending on the fee or bill.)
