Dr. T.K. Gregg Community Center

650 Howard Street

864-591-4354

When the former T.K. Gregg Recreation Center on Oakland Avenue was closed, it was with a promise that a new state-of-the-art facility would be built to take its place. Now, the new Dr. T.K. Gregg Community Center on our city's Northside is rising to fulfill that promise.

Featuring an indoor aquatics center with two pools—one for competitive and exercise lap swimming and one for water therapy and swimming lessons—as well as an indoor basketball gym, fitness center, walking track, and multiple community rooms, this new facility will serve as both a community anchor for Spartanburg's redeveloping Northside as well as a destination for residents throughout our city. See the videos below for a 3D walkthrough rendering of the future center, and footage from our groundbreaking ceremony.
