Commercial Building Permit
Any work done on a non-residential property in the City of Spartanburg will require a commercial building permit. Commercial building permits are only issued to state and city licensed contractors.

Demolition, Exterior Construction & Site Plan Review
If demolition is required prior to exterior work beginning on your site, a demolition permit application will need to be completed. For exterior work, a site plan must also be submitted to the City Planning Department for review. Depending on the work scope, additional applications may also be need to be submitted.
