Spartanburg's Police and Fire Departments

With nearly 250 law enforcement officers, firefighters, and civilian support staff, Spartanburg's Police and Fire departments are the city's largest and often its most visible presenses, providing emergency police and fire response for 37,000 residents as well as thousands of local businesses and their employees.

Spartanburg's Police and Fire departments are committed to providing the city with high quality services in partnership with the community they serve. Utilizing the latest in law enforcement and fire response technology to increase efficiency and provide swift responses for citizens, they are dedicated to keeping the residents and businesses that call our city home safe.

Public Safety Committee

Established in 1995, the Spartanburg Public Safety Committee exists to develop, promote, and support the programs and efforts of the Public Safety Department.
